Bio:

Parklane is the creation of Ryan Morse, a creative individual from South Africa. His passion for music and his ambitious attitude has allowed him to turn his dream into reality.

Founded in 2003, Parklane an alternative rock band has become a house-hold name in South Africa, charting at number one twice on radio station 5 FM.

After several auditions, Ryan finally discovered the unique sound he was looking for with the four experienced and talented musicians in the current lineup.. and not to forget one of the best vocalists to come out of South Africa:

Ryan Morse:
Lead vocalist Ryan is admired for his lust for life and his reckless approach to music.

Daniel Fuchs
The youngest member of the band, with the biggest attitude, a self taught guitarist who plays a mean melodic solo guitar.

Darin Collins (Base Guitar)
Darin plays a critical role in the success of Parklane, playing bass like his life depends on it and bringing an energy to the band that ensures that sparks fly.

Damian Staz (Drummer)
Damo has always been a true Muso his whole life and is a drum teacher at SA Jazz workshop. He has built a reputation for himself and is now one of the most demanded jazz drummers in South Africa. He is cool, calm & collected and is a perfectionist.

Werner Bonthuys (Rhythm Guitarist)
Werner has a deep desire and passion for music which he studied at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford England and focuses on happiness rather than money. Music is a huge part of his day, teaching guitar when he not practicing with the band.

Parklane has been influenced by some of the greatest bands including the Beatles for their simplicity in song writing and Slipknot for the intensity of the way their instruments are played.

Other influences are bands like Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Breaking Benjamin, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Skillet and Green Day.

The band aims to create music that touches the soul of listeners bringing a message of hope, love and excitement to fans, aiming to inspire and encourage those at times of hardship.
